The first ever Tsunami Resource Centre in Indonesia was recently launched in Banda Aceh. Richard Lim, FON's Director of Operations, Sue Tharan, Grants Officer & Azita Azlan, Communications Coordinator, made the trip for the launch.

As part of the Tsunami Learning project that is funded by the FON, the Tsunami Resource Centre is a collaboration between MERCY Malaysia , Asian Disaster Reduction & Response Network (ADRRN) and Kyoto University , Kyoto , Japan . The centre aims to rebuild and rehabilitate post-tsunami Aceh through its many major projects.
